Phoenix Method for Divorce Recovery (PMDR)

In 2009, Susan developed a training course for therapists to share with them what took her close to a decade to learn to successfully guide clients through a divorce.

The three components of this divorce recovery program are:

Resources,

Information, &

Supportive Environment

The initials, R.I.S.E., symbolize the journey of the phoenix, and the PMDR program Susan developed helps clients sort through the ashes of the life they once had and find a new life on the other side of marital dissolution.

This is Susan’s most popular course. Therapists all over the United States and Canada, who wish to fill the needs of their divorcing clients as well as build their own practice as a divorce professional, will be glad they took the Phoenix Method for Divorce Recoverytraining.

Following each training, Susan is available to coach therapists on an ongoing basis in setting up each component of the PMDR Method. Participants may earn additional CEUs.

Here’s what one participant had to say after taking Susan’s PMDR™ training:

“Susan Pease Gadoua is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate about the process of divorce. She is a very valuable resource on this issue for professionals and clients alike.

I learned an enormous amount in this training and I highly recommend it. Susan is generous and encouraging with her knowledge and experience.”

~ Rachel Walker, MFT, Berkeley, California

All PMDR trained therapists become part of a cross-referral network of divorce professionals.
